I reviewed your services and I still don’t understand how you can help my business?

If you are an established business looking to take your business to the next level, here’s how we can help:

  1. We evaluate how well you currently do online.
  2. We create or update your website, if needed.
  3. We put a plan together to improve your online presence.
  4. We create pieces of writing on your website suitable for the people you want to target.
  5. We create and post regularly to various social media channels like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn.

What we do primarily is write on topics that help potential customers find your website, which draws in more traffic that is relevant to the products and services that you offer. If you want to learn more, just ask.

How do I market my products or services online to a specific group of people?

  1. Just as important online as it is offline, you must first know who your target audience is. The next step is to identify the pain points of your audience:
    1. What are your potential customers struggling with?
    2. What problem are they trying to solve?
    3. What needs are they trying to satisfy?

  2. The next step is to offer solutions through your writing and promotions.
  3. Then you guide them through choosing your products or services over those of the competition.

We often do this through blogging and related social media activities. Learn about how blogging can help.

My website doesn’t display nicely on a phone. What do I need to do to change that?

You need to upgrade your website to a responsive design that displays well on any device. A web designer can help.

Is blogging going to improve my Google rank?

  1. Google ranking should be an outcome and not a goal.
  2. Blogging, done right, adds value content to the web, which will guide your target audience to your site.
  3. Your competitive advantage, that thing that makes you unique or different from your competitors, will come through in your blogs and related social media activities which will in turn draw the right audience to the stories you’re telling through your blogs.

Are Google Ads worth the investment?

We recommend that first you work out a solid content marketing plan and then publish new content at least once every 2 week. You then support your publish content with social media activities. Give it time and see how things go. If you still want more, then give Google Ads a go. This of course assumes that you have a decent website with SEO basics at a minimum.

I’m facing malicious competition online. How do I beat my top competitor?

Don’t play their game. Focus on doing the right thing for your business and your market. Don’t base any of your decisions on their activities.  You don’t want to turn into a malicious competitor yourself.

I don’t like all this social media stuff but I know I have to do it. Can you help me understand why?

  1. Consumers expect to get content when, how and where they want it. You need to provide that content where your consumers are hanging out and in the format that best suits them. Social media allows you to do exactly that.
  2. Social media provide an effective channel to reach your target audience; you know who’s hanging out where.
  3. Social media gives you access to a network that is much wider than your own immediate reach; consider the spiral effect of your own followers.
  4. Social media also helps you build customer loyalty.
  5. Social media is not an advertisement channel.

If we work together, how much of my time would you need?

Great question. Based on our experience, here’s what you can expect:

  1. Up to a maximum of 4 hours over the span of 2-3 weeks.
  2. Up to a maximum of 1 hour a week for the first couple of months of the project.
  3. Up to a maximum of 30 minutes a week for the remainder of the project.

Your time commitment depends on the scope of the project. It would be detailed in the plan so that you know what to expect.

I can’t afford to pay a consultant long-term. What do you propose I do to maintain the work you do for me?

We help set you up and then hand over the day-to-day work. Based on the size of your company and the skill set within, we can recommend a sustainable way to help you keep the momentum going and your marketing plan in action. We offer group and individual training, as needed.
